An AJAX based mapping engine for GPS vehicle, fleet and asset tracking is available to allow third party service providers to simply integrate web based GPS tracking into their company website. Click on the customer login page and enter a user code and password of "DEMO" to see an example of one variant of the tracking page with a few days of data loaded. The product is based on the OpenLayers library and the demonstration is configured to use the OpenStreetMap map tile server but can easily be reconfigured for other data sources. Unlike other map data sources the OpenLayers data is free to use so it avoids costly contracts and pay-per-click arrangements.
Data is served from an SQL database with a modular set of stored procedures translating data from its raw format to allow the product to be integrated with a wide range of data sources and GPS tracking devices. The columns displayed can be customised on a per-user basis and dynamically generated SQL queries allow the data to be formatted based on definitions stored within a database table allowing maximum flexibility. Full customization and installation is available so please contact us to discuss your requirements. The demonstration system is configured under IIS 7 and an SQL/Server 2008 database but it can easily be targetted to other database and server platforms.
